1.Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to RoastMania, operated by RoastMania ("RoastMania", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the RoastMania app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2.Eligibility and Accounts

You may only create one account per person, and the identity and contact information you provide (username, email, location) must be accurate and current. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Accounts found to impersonate another person, bypass a suspension, or otherwise abuse the registration flow may be removed without notice.

3.RoastMania Is Consensual Comedy

RoastMania is a social comedy app built around mutual, good-faith roasting: battles, duels and "Roast This" posts exist for humor between willing participants. By uploading a subject or entering a roast, you accept that other users will mock it and that the crowd votes on what lands.

This consensual context is the line. Roasting content that was submitted to the platform for that purpose is the point of the Service; directing abuse at people who have not opted in — or at users, groups or communities outside the platform — is not permitted.

4.User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to RoastMania, including posts, roast entries, comments, images and your profile information ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant RoastMania a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for format and display purposes only) and display that content in order to operate and promote the Service.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all User Content you submit, and that it does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.

You may delete your User Content at any time; copies may persist in backups for a limited period thereafter.

5.Acceptable Use and Community Standards

To keep RoastMania fun for everyone, the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Content demeaning people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation.
  • Harassment, threats, doxxing, or sustained abuse directed at any individual, on or off the platform.
  • Sexually explicit material involving minors — which is reported to the relevant authorities — and any other illegal content.
  • Spam and manipulation of votes, leaderboards, XP or engagement metrics, including multiple accounts or automation.
  • Impersonating another person or misrepresenting an affiliation.
  • Uploading images of private individuals who have not consented to being roasted.

6.Moderation and Enforcement

We may review User Content reported by the community and remove content, or restrict, suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms. Moderation decisions aim to protect the community; they are at our discretion and may be taken without prior notice where we consider it necessary.

You can report content or users through the in-app reporting tools. Serious violations may result in permanent loss of access to your account.

7.Battles, Duels, XP and Virtual Rewards

XP, wallet balances, titles, badges and other virtual rewards earned in RoastMania are part of a game-like experience. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash or goods, and do not create any debt or obligation for RoastMania.

We may adjust, add or remove reward mechanics, balances and features at any time as the Service evolves.

8.Notifications

By using the Service you consent to receive operational notifications (such as duel challenges, results and engagement activity) through the app and, where you have enabled push notifications, on your device. You can disable push notifications at any time in the app's settings or in your device's system settings; the in-app notification center continues to work either way.

9.Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, available in the app and on this website. Using the Service means you consent to the practices described there.

10.Termination

You may stop using RoastMania and delete the app at any time. You can also delete your account from the app's Settings at any time; doing so removes your profile in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service or any part of it.

11.Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

12.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoastMania and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.

13.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date always reflects the current version, and material changes will be surfaced in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
